What is engineered natural stone? It's a natural stone, IE marble, granite, etc. But it's man-made. The process was developed in Italy in the 1960s. Engineered stone is virtually identical to natural stone on the molecular level. But has the additional advantage of being nonporous and stress cracks don't show up down the road.

It has the look, feel, and weight of quarried stone, in fact, after the blocks are made, the same exact equipment is used to cut the slabs + polish them as quarried stone.
